Why are there so many Catholics these days leaving the Catholic Church?

You hear it quite often. People say, I used to be Catholic. A lot of people, mainly young people, leave the Catholic Church. I just don't understand. I'm 23 years old and I grew up in a pre-Vatican II environment in full communion with Rome. I attended the traditional Latin Mass. I served as an altar boy assisting the priest at Mass. I was taught the traditional Baltimore catechism and read only the Douay-Rheims Bible. I knew my faith completely by the age of 13 when I was confirmed. I knew what to believe and what to do in order to be saved. I see so many Catholics these days, mainly those who were raised in the post-Vatican II Novus Ordo environment, end up leaving the Catholic Church. They say things like, I just don't agree with it , or it just wasn't for me. What is going on here? I just don't understand why so many Catholics these days leave the Catholic Church.

Why do so many men cut their hair too short?

Why do so many men cut their hair too short? In the show 2 and 1/2 Men you have a perfect example of how NOT to cut your hair as a male...With Alan Harper's buzz cut you can see how dorky and unattractive it makes him look... You also have Charlie Harper's CORRECT hair style for men that looks a lot more like what women find attractive. I've seen it a thousand times, someone I know or work with will come into work one day with a BUZZ CUT haircut that looks 100% BAD. Buzz Cuts make your ears look too big... It makes your head look like a skeleton skull, it just looks BAD. If you want to look stupid and unattractive to women and make yourself look like the kind of person no one want's to be seen with, there's one very simple easy way to do this... Just cut your hair really short in a Buzz Cut that's like 1 inch long.... That's all it takes to make a Male look CRAZY and scare every female away from you. I swear to you... ALL Women like men to have at least 2 Inches of Hair on their head. I've been married for 9 years, met and dated thousands of women over my lifetime, I swear to you women like men with long hair, at least 2 inches on top. I'm 39, been married for 9 years... I'm just saying... I know from my wife and MANY other women who have talked to me about this...(When your married, women tell you stuff they don't tell single men). I just do understand why guys cut their hair too short and make themselves look stupid and dorky. I'm not talking about kids, that's different but any Man over the age of say 21 should have an ADULTS haircut that looks decent and respectable. Just my thoughts.

Help improve my summer school oxford uni personal statement?

The reason I want to attend the Oxford University summer school is because it is my dream to study medicine and I know that attending Oxford University would be a fantastic opportunity for me; it would give me a firsthand insight into studying medicine, preparing me for the future degree As I am in year twelve, it would be literally a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’ as I will never have a chance to apply for a scheme such as this. The firsthand experience would show me how much work I would have to put in to study medicine, thus increasing my motivation and determination in my AS level courses – I need to get the best grades possible. I admire the tenuous work that doctors do, studying for years all to spend their lives caring for others; I aspire to be a general practitioner. After college lessons, I attend a range of funded Kings College and University college London mentoring sessions which gives me information on how to get unto a medical degree, based on their personal experiences. Although this is helpful, can I stress that it DOES NOT allow me to firsthand experience a medical degree. How can wholeheartedly study a degree without fully comprehending what it is about? How can I give my best an enabling me to become the best doctor I can be? This is WHY it is SO imperative that I get unto this course. I am caring, volunteering every school holiday at my local Cancer Research shop; I spend hours cleaning and getting to know the customers which I very much enjoy; it also boosts my confidence. Before I began my AS levels I was a vice leader at my former church youth group; despite the weather conditions, I would fundraise for my youth group, raising money for new equipment. I have achieved a jack petchy award for my kindness and sympathy towards others. My GCSE results, ranging from A*-B were one of the best in my secondary school, I am aware that I am at a disadvantage compared to those who attained straight A*’s and A’s at GCSE; the reason for this was because of the lack of permanent teachers at my secondary school and my parents financial conditions. Nonetheless, I am determined to make up for my GCSE scores with outstanding A levels. I may not be the best in my GCSE scores or economic conditions but I am by far one of the best in my determination and outstanding work ethic. As you can see, I have a thorough interest in studying medicine, please give me this chance and change my life.

I want to know what the adult film from the 60s to the 80s(possibly) is called?

It had 3 or 4 scenes and was from the 60s/70s, maybe early 80s. If I recall right one of the scenes was called The Wet Nurse. Basically there was this injured construction guy, with a hurt back, had a nurse do a house call, she started off by giving him a sponge bath then gave him oral. She then went down to get some orange juice, then went to masturbate on the guy's couch. I just want to know what the movie was called, cause I thought it was just freaking funny. It had a very corny "story" along with even cornier music. Got a nice chuckle out if it and wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Which of these are the best gel eyeliner?

I use gel eyeliner literary every day, and up until now I've been using MAC fluidline...It is really good, except for the fact that I have never actually finished a pot: I only replace it once it has dried up. So I need to get a new one, truly black, long-wearing (super important!), soft and easy to apply, works well on the waterline, won't make my contacts muddy, and it can't dry up too quickly...These are the ones I've been looking at: Bobbi Brown long-wear eyeliner Clinique gel eyeliner Dior long-wear gel eyeliner Which of these are the best? Do you have any other suggestions on good ones? It needs to be available in the UK... thanks guys :-)

Older women yelling at me. I'm a new mother?

Ok so I'm in my late late 20's but I look young like 15-17 (I know that does sound hard to believe I could look that young but I do). I've just recently had a baby girl. When I'm taking her out for a walk I get older women yelling at me telling me 'to get out of the way!' they call me 'sl*g' and other things. I cracked it with a woman the other day telling her I'm 28 and to grow up. I'm really hurt by these women talking to me this way. I'm close to my 30's, have a husband who has a good job, we'd been planning this baby too for a while. What can I do? Please no mean answers. Thanks.

SIUE major information?

I want to go to SIUE (Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville) and I have a few questions. After completeing the ACT (my test date is April9) how soon after can I apply for SIUE? Also, I know I won't do that well on the science portion of the test but I'll do fine everywhere else? What classes, besides science, would they suggest I take? I want to be a veterinarian but major in music and performing arts. I really want to join a theater group and choir as well and continue keyboard, piano and singing lessons. I'd also like to better my reading ability and comprehension skills and creative writing. What are the classes every Freshman will have to take and how soon can I get involved with musical theater and joining the choir?

Mens engagement jewelry?

My boyfriend and I are on the road towards engagement (we have all the rings - including both our wedding bands) and I thought I would surprise him with his own engagement jewelry. After all, any guy sees a ring on my finger and he knows I'm off-limits, but I want some way to do the same for him. I've considered a belt buckle (but he is going into EMT/Paramedic field, and an overly-extravagant one would get in the way), cuff links (but he has one suit, without French cuffs), earrings (he has 1" gauges but I couldn't find any fine gauges, or one with a ball and chain on it for the humor effect). He's not a watch-wearer, or a necklace type of guy. If he still had some of his other piercings, it would be a different story. We've looked at rings, too, but he doesn't want something traditional, and I didn't want to just get him something from Hot Topic or Spencer's; I wanted it to be something he would wear most of the time, that's as special as the ring he bought me. Am I overlooking some possible men's accessories? Or, perhaps, is there someone who would make custom gauges/belt buckles/etc., with precious metal and possibly stones?
